Clarity creates momentum. When people understand why your work matters, they’re far more likely to act. That belief is at the heart of Good Fortune.

WE HELP YOU create momentum

Good Fortune crafts stories that move hearts before they make cases. We lead with the emotional value of your work—the why—before the rational details—the what.

We design websites that make it easy for people to take the next step -- and we write active, compelling copy that challenges people to act: to volunteer, buy, donate, advocate, or engage in the way that matters most.

Whether you’re a nonprofit reliant on donor support, or a for-profit social enterprise working to grow its reach, Good Fortune helps you connect with more people and move them to action. Which, in turn, helps you do more good. (And that’s the point, right?)

ABOUT NEAL SULLIVAN

Good Fortune reflects the intersection of two long-standing passions of its founder, Neal Sullivan: strategic communications and work that makes a difference.

For more than 20 years, Sullivan developed brand strategies and creative solutions for major companies including Mattel, Procter & Gamble, GEICO, Comcast, and Gannett. Over time, he increasingly brought that experience to mission-driven organizations—helping them tell their stories, engage people in their mission, and turn good intentions into action.

Among his nonprofit work, Sullivan partnered with the Lift a Life Foundation and USA TODAY Charitable Foundation to help create Lead2Feed (now Lead4Change), a free student leadership program that has reached more than two million students in over 15,000 classrooms.

Sullivan also collaborated with David Novak, former Chairman and CEO of Yum! Brands, on several ventures, including the launch of OGO (O Great One!), a consumer recognition brand, and the relaunch of the How Leaders Lead with David Novak podcast. He later served as President and COO of David Novak Leadership, Inc., a nonprofit leadership development organization.

In 2019, Sullivan founded Eye Have Hope, LLC, an out-of-school educational program designed to help children and youth build hope, resilience, and confidence—an idea inspired by refugee children he worked with while traveling in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Jordan.

Most recently, Sullivan served as Director of Marketing Communications for Catholic Charities of Louisville, where he helped communicate the mission and impact of programs serving people of all faiths and backgrounds. His work there also deepened his interest in Catholic Social Teaching and its practical application to the challenges of contemporary life.
