DOING GOOD ISN'T EASY

That’s why clarity matters.

No matter how important your work is—or how passionately you feel about it—earning support takes more than good intentions. When time, attention, and resources are limited, every word, every image, every click counts.

So, why should people choose you?

Whether you’re a nonprofit reliant on donor funding or a for-profit social enterprise competing for market share, Good Fortune helps you win more people over. Which, in turn, helps you do more good. (And that’s the point, right?)

Clarity creates momentum. When people understand why your work matters, they’re far more likely to act. That belief is at the heart of Good Fortune.

WE HELP YOU BREAK THROUGH

Good Fortune crafts stories that move hearts before they make cases. We lead with the emotional value of your work—the why—before the rational details—the what.

We design websites that create a clear, frictionless path to action -- and we write active, compelling copy that challenges people to act: to volunteer, buy, donate, advocate, or engage in the way that matters most.

These disciplines are easy to lose sight of—especially when budgets are tight and teams are stretched thin.

You’re busy doing good, after all.

ABOUT NEAL SULLIVAN

Good Fortune reflects the intersection of two long-standing passions of its founder, Neal Sullivan: brand strategy and social impact marketing.

For more than 20 years, Sullivan has developed breakthrough brand strategy and creative solutions for major corporations, including Mattel, Procter & Gamble, GEICO, Comcast, and Gannett. He later applied this for-profit expertise to the nonprofit sector, helping mission-driven organizations sharpen their message and dramatically expand their reach.

Among his nonprofit work, Sullivan partnered with LiftALife Foundation and the USA Today Foundation to help create Lead2Feed (now Lead4Change), which has grown into the largest free student leadership development program in the United States—now used in more than 15,000 classrooms and reaching over two million students.

Sullivan has also collaborated with David Novak, former CEO and Chairman of Yum! Brands, to launch OGO (O Great One!), the world’s first consumer recognition brand. He later helped relaunch the business podcast How Leaders Lead with David Novak, turning it into a category leader, and served as President and COO of David Novak Leadership, Inc., a nonprofit leadership development organization.

In 2019, Sullivan founded Eye Have Hope, LLC, an after-school program focused on building resilience in children and youth—an initiative inspired by refugee children he met while traveling in Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Jordan.

Most recently, Sullivan served as Director of Marketing Communications for Catholic Charities of Louisville, supporting a wide range of domestic and international programs serving people of all faiths and backgrounds.
